looking for feedback on both. The triple S is tempting because it cuts out parts of my system while giving me a better shooting surface on the pack. The molinator looks like for straight shooting it would be better but does less. I just want my arca rail to slide around less and be able to settle the rifle down into a bag
How does the SSS actually sleep compared to a pillow?
My current sit pad and pillow are about 13oz, and adding the molinator in puts it at 20oz combined compared to the SSS at 7 oz and possibly an argali dream pillow to stuff it in, leaves around a 10 oz difference. 10 ounces does not deter me either way if it’s noticeably better in some regard. But if both do pretty well considering my shots are all sub 250 with an open sight muzzle loader the SSS makes more sense.
