I searched through the forums and found a several folks modifying their stocks and grip angles. I am curious if there’s an easy-ish way to give the rem 700 grip less trigger reach and a more vertical grip without totally hacking it up?

Pictured is Rem 700 adl mountain rifle in an old KS stock. There are virtually no aftermarket stocks available for this rifle that I’d consider replacing it with… open to suggestions here as well

Pictured below is obviously a tikka with the vertical grip installed for reference.

The only ones I’ve used is moldable thermoplastic beads. Results are fugly but easily reversed if you want to take it off.

Was hoping there was some stick-on grip or some such that I haven’t found in my searches yet

I cut up the original Tikka grip to make my vertical grip more vertical. Maybe worth a try.
Heat and cut to fit. JB Welded on.

My wheels are turning now. Think I may try hacking up the original tikka grip and jb weld it on along with the epoxy dough to fill in gaps and smooth out. then a fresh paint job… 🤔
