Model Seven in 6.5 Creedmoor NOT an SS with 21" Smooth Barrel a Unicorn?

Good morning everyone. I'm new at this forums thing, and I hope I don't bore anyone with this thread. A few months ago, I bought at auction a Remington Model Seven in 6.5 Creedmoor. When I picked up the rifle, I was really pleased with the condition of it and how little it looked like it had been fired, exceptionally clean. As per any firearm I own, I started doing research on this rifle, and was having a hard time finding any 6.5 Creedmoor Model Sevens except for the 2019 SS model. I took the rifle apart to verify cleaning and all, and noticed the 21" barrel was not marked at all. No caliber, no makers mark, nothing. I cleaned the rifle, then took it to a local gunsmith who kept it and Chamber Cast the rifle to verify that it indeed it was a 6.5 Creedmoor. He did two test fires and gave me the spent brass. He said the rifle was amazing and that everything checked out. One other thing to note is that the rifle has a Timney trigger installed on it.
My questions are, has anyone else seen one like this? Did Remington actually build this one? I've attached photos and the serial number is RR65XXXG.

Wouldn't the chamber have to be 6.5 Creedmoor to match the barrel? If so, the chamber is not the SS model. Appreciate your reply. Thank you!!

No but, have you taken it to the range? How does it shoot?

Chamber is cut into the barrel, so yes they should match as they are one piece.

Shoots amazing. 1" group at 100 yards. Even makes me look good.

Sweet looking rifle. Guessing a custom of some sort. I had a 700 6.5 creed take off barrel screwed onto a seven action a couple years ago. Love that rifle

Its a unicorn that someone made and not a factory produced firearm. Not saying that its not a wonderful rifle. I'm just saying it didn't come from Remington in that configuration. Its a fine looking rifle and it sounds like it shoots well. Enjoy that cartridge - its one of my favorites.

I'd say your blessed that it's not a Remington barrel. Probably shoots better than their factory barrel.

It does not appear to have the typical Model 7 barrel profile.
