Mobile Hunting Setups

I have been hunting almost run and gun sits out of a Lone wolf alpha 2 with 3 sticks for 10 years now. By far the best hunting purchase I ever made. I bought it when i was 20 and had to sign up for a scheels credit card at the time to purchase it but it was sure worth it. Ive hunted some tiny trees you wouldnt think youd be able to sit in and tress with little to no cover but just hunting the back of the tree. Next year I think I am going to make the jump an buy a LWCG .5 or the new ranger hybrid with a new set of sticks as well just to cut down on my weight. Im guessing from my alpah 2 ive killed 15 or 20 deer out of it on mostly public here in Wisconin. Exploring new land to hunt is by far my favorite thing to do. Hunting nasty marsh and also hunting the northwoods of Wisconsin scouting and being mobile is key to all of my success.

I have two setups. One is a latitude saddle with ultimate one stick and other is long wolf sit and climb both are very lightweight and stay in my vehicle for different places

LWCG 1.0 with 4 compact sticks. I don't usually use all 4 but carry them just incase. Some smaller Badlands pack I've had for years because I don't carry a lot of stuff when I hunt.

It’s the offseason and I’m jonesing to be sitting up in a tree waiting for one to walk by.

Post up your mobile hunting setup, be it a hang on, saddle, climber or ground chair. I want to see YOUR preferred mobile hunting setup.
Please describe it as well, to give us ideas if you don’t mind.

My preference is:

Beast stand
3-4x Beast sticks
(1) 3 step climbing aider

LWCG Bow Holder
LWCG Quiver holder
Quake CLAW Treestand straps
Mobile Hunting Gear stick talons

I have a pretty similar set up to that also. I found reflective zip ties online last year to that help me mark some spots on public. I dropped the link below.

I’ve hunted out of hang-ons, ladder stands, and box blinds over the years, but I’ve settled on a saddle setup because it fits the way I like to hunt. My current setup is a Cruzr XC saddle with an Eastern Woods Outdoors rope and a Mad Rock Safeguard. I one-stick with an Out On A Limb Big Bob and carry everything in with me.

What I like most is the freedom to hunt fresh sign instead of being tied to a preset stand location. I’ll scout my way in, find the hottest sign, pick the right tree, and be hunting within minutes. It’s lighter, quieter, and lets me adapt to changing deer movement throughout the season.

For Arkansas public land, being mobile has put me in a lot more deer than sitting the same stand day after day. Finding the sign and climbing the tree that’s right for that hunt is half the fun for me.

I started saddle hunting two years ago.

Holy crap, ive known about them for a while, always thought they looked uncomfortable. In typical fashion, one of those things I wished id have adopted 20 years ago.

I started with an Ape Canyon Pioneer. I had a CGM custom cobra made this winter.

I usually SRT climb, lots of pre-sets, but am thinking about trying one sticking.
