Been doing it for a long time.
Makes great fly and tick repellent for the horses. It bonds to their hair and can last a couple weeks depending on what flys and the current density.
All my woods cut firewood gets sprayed down before going in the trailer, after its split, and when it's stacked in the basement. Known ant infested trees get sprayed down a week or two before they get cut.
Takes out bee, wasp, hornet and ant nests like a charm.
A mist on your clothes keeps the ticks off.
20:1 is a good mix, but you need to adjust for various concentrations (maths).
