Wrangells are no joke! Brutal arena for sure. I too hop eit's the same guy! Story seems line up.

As do I, with the new incident out there we don't need to have lost 2

I thought this was the guy who died from a boulder falling on him??? Or is this a different hunter?

No the hunter crushed was in the Brooks. The alleged missing hunter was in the Wrangells.

I do believe a hunter was contacted by the State Troopers after not calling his wife after X time.

Not trying to be nit-picky but the sheep hunter that got crusheded was in the Alaska range.

Hunter in the Wrangells turned out ok. NPS contracted a couple of local pilots and they found him.
