I just want to know the gap you have, then I can reverse math because I have a pic rail, and I a little more figuring swapping a Tikka profile and my heaviest barrel.

Your 1.3 makes me believe I can do a 1.1X medium instead of a 1.2X high from ARC or Area419

Seeing as you're going to test the DFND fishnet baselayers for us ...

The gap between the bell and highest part of the barrel (ie smallest gap) is approximately 7-8 mm. Note the 'approximately' - my calipers aren't handy, so I just used a stack of business cards until I had a snug fit and measured the height of those. So there's possibly +/- 1 mm in that range ...

I spoke with him on the phone a few weeks ago about a different purchase, and asked about these THLRs too. At that time, he estimated they'd be receiving them right around Christmas, give or take a bit. What he made clear is that they would know when the scopes were shipped out by Minox, but that they would have to sit in customs for an unpredictable amount of time, while they went through that process. So I'd be expecting them any time now, but who knows.
