Minox md50

Going on my annual Nz trip.

Wife wants a trophy Tahr for the wall.

Worth it to pack the md50? I can spring for a bit better spotter but to be fair this is the only time I'll use it for a while..

Probably will mostly use it for judging trophy potential and so most glassing with meostar hd 10x on tripod.

I had a minox but sold it..wasn't overly impressed over decent binos on a tripod to be honest.
if you're going for a compact spotter, id spend a little more and get something just a bit nicer. it will be nice to have at the range and for other activities, once you have it, youll use it more.
i realized that i didnt need binos, a small spotter, and a big spotter..so i sold the small spotter.

To follow up...

At a thousand yards I can sort of tell if an antelope is pretty good or not with 10x on tripod but it'd be nice to really confirm cutter heights and what not.

Md50 won't help here... shoot!!
