I don't think so... I could see rolling ball with binos that have field flatteners... I had a pair of zen Ray primes and I could see rolling ball with them. I don't see rolling ball with either the Zeiss or vortex... I could be wrong but I believe rolling ball is specific to field flatters to compensate for pincushioning

I really like what I've read on Rokslide about Maven Optics. My concern is the company is so new and I can't look through them before I buy. The optical quality appears to be better than the Vortex Vipers and the Zeiss Conquest, according to the reviews on here.

Call them and ask about doing a demo.

I'll call them Tuesday and see what they have to say. Muley, how happy with them are you at this point. I know you've had them a while and I'm curious what you would compare them to and what you upgraded from.

Actually I sent them back. I have some cheaper HD binos from Eagle Optics. I sat in my back yard looking at the mountain until dark going back and forth. I just didnt see spending $1000 for more edge clarity as that is about the only noticeable difference I saw. The Mavens were maybe a bit brighter too but by the time it was really noticeable it was past legal hunting hours so what good is that?

I am still not sold on the idea of spending that much on binos and if I do I keep telling myself Swaros are the only way to go due to the warranty and history of the company. So I guess my opinion after having the Mavens is save up another $500 or maybe less and find a used set of Swaros.
