Mid-day mule deer strategy?

Mostly I nap or move between spots. However, last year I killed a buck in the early afternoon. Winds were about 30 mph, and I stalked near to and then glassed him up in a known bedding area that was sheltered from the wind. Very impressed by all the midday hunters on this thread, great advice and tips!
