Hey guys,

I’m currently shooting VAP TKOs and a bow I bought not long ago is going to need 300s vs. the 350s I’m running currently.

Since I’m gonna need a heavier spine, I figure I may as well gather info on what’s out there. I’m not in any way upset with the performance I’ve had out of VAPs, but are there any other micros worth looking at? Or better yet - any I should outright avoid?

Thanks in advance!

Been very pleased with my easton fmj injections.
Only thing I don't like is how limited I am deep six broadheads. So I shoot Iron wills and have also been very pleased with them.

I don’t think it makes a difference to be honest.

I’m shooting gold tip kinetic pierce platinum 300 spine. Got them used for a steal, and they do shoot well, but no better than standard diameter arrows to my eyes. They feel pretty slick, and penetrate deep, but I’ve also got a lot of weight up front which is probably the main reason for that. Maybe a better archery could tell the difference in how they shoot but I cannot. Also need to make sure your quiver will hold them. Can make “upgrading” that much more expensive!

I think you've definitely got the most versatile option out there. You can throw tons more weight up front on the Vaps compared to other setups. Really your not going to see anything much different in any of the other offerings. I've shot them all. The Easton Injexions are probably the most consistent shaft I've ever seen, but they are super fragile. If I ever glanced off a tree shooting 3D or something they would implode.

Yeah I’d love to give them a shot, but the extra expense of having to buy the ethics outserts(or moving to deep six system) turns me off from them.

Its not terrible if you can use macanicals. But I'm restricted to solids in Idaho. The only reason I got them was I got them for free. So I figured Id give them a try. Thr extra penitration is nice but I already have another set of 6mm FMJ's ready for once I lose all of the 4mm FMJ's. Then I'll save some money on broadheads.

I am really liking my Bloodsport Evidence arrows so far! Very tough, fly very well, and 11.7 grains per inch makes them great for Elk!
