Mesa altitude stock with Arca rail?

Has anyone mounted a Arca rail on their Mesa stock? The sling stud holes on mine are Milled out in the barrel channel pretty deep and I’m nervous it’s not got enough strength to put t nuts in and hang a bipod or Tripod off of. I’ve thought about maybe mounting the Arca rail farther back between the sling stud and recoil lug as it seems it would stabilize better on the tripod, but don’t love the idea of drilling holes and whatnot into my new custom built rifle. I’m using the area 419 Arca plates btw

This is definitely what I want to do but nervous about drilling especially since I don’t have a drill press. Maybe I’ll go pick up a cheap one just for this. I like how they turned it around to get it closer to the bottom receiver. Has anyone hunted with the set up from the above?

I bore my t nut counterinks in fiberglass/carbon fiber stock barrel channels by hand with forstner bits in a T handle. The shell is the stiffness in these stocks, not the forend fill, so drilling doesn’t take away any strength.

I talked with Mesa precision and they said it would be good, they said that inside the stock where the sling studs are they actually have an aluminum shank so it’s plenty strong. But I’ve decided on mounting it back by the receiver, so I went and got a drill press today and will start the project tomorrow on my Christensen ridgeline sitting in a Mcmillian game hunter as a trial run before I tear apart the new custom Saum and drill into the Mesa stock

I've installed two of the titanium arca mounts from @LivetohuntID in a couple of the mesas. The forend on my Mesa was hollow inside the barrel channel to lower weight. I took some clay, and made a dam, filled with about a half inch of epoxy so the T nut had something to compress against.

Revamping this thread as I’m looking to get an Arca rail for my Mesa Stock. What one did everyone go with? Flat? Curved? I’m specifically looking for a 4” one from SRS but open to other options

I didn’t see a reply to your thread but I’m curious about this as well. I went ahead and ordered the SRS Hunter Rail (short) for my Mesa stock, should have it in a couple weeks. I haven’t been able to find much info on this rail since it’s still new.

I'll have a Mesa tikka stock on Thursday and already have the short SRS hunters rail in hand. When I get it put together I'll report back.

I put one of these a few of my rifles not on a mesa but I would bet it would be pretty easy. Uses sling swivel studs.

I hand carry my rifle a lot. The section of the Mesa Altitude right in front of the the front action screw feels really good in my hand. Although I realize the best place for an Arca rail is in the same place I would normally have my hand when carrying the rifle, I am not willing to give up the space for my hand. The photos below are from the Mesa website. The adapter looks like an SRS Arca + Pic.
Based on how I hunt, the SRS Arca + Pic interests me.

@LivetohuntID, you have a great-looking product here.

Looks really good man! What process did you follow for bedding?
I wanted the recoil lug touching the front of the lug recess on the action while the screws were perfectly centered in the pillars. I had to remove the lug from the stock and use a dremel to open the lug cut out in the sock bigger toward the forend.
Then I superglued the recoil lug onto the action where I wanted it. Rubbed clear shoe polish on for release agent. Filled the areas I wanted with epoxy and screwed it together at 50 inch pounds. I don't bed the whole action much anymore. Just the recoil lug area and the tang. That is a quick down and dirty of how I did it.
