Duh. Been Happy Black Friday and Merry Christmas to myself for the last 4 weeks. LOL.

Most of my EOY bonus went into the brokerage account but a little bit went to a new Tikka 6.5cm to replace my m70 270 and an Rs1.2 to sit on top of it. I might still grab an identical 223 but will fund that by selling off a few unused guns. Was planning to grab my old safe from my dads to move my "I never use these" guns into and make some room in the main safe though it would be far more practical to just sell a few.

Also grabbed the garmin chrono, never had a chrono before. I was really looking at a set of swaro binos but came to my senses on what I should / should not spend this year.

Most recently, I snagged the Maven scope everyone loves. I still need to find a new rifle to put it on...

I guess it was a merry Christmas to me, the week after black Friday I snagged a Nightforce SHV 3-10 for a great deal from Fleet Farm.

She has been teasing the past couple days that she is pretty proud of what she came up with though, so I'm looking forward to seeing what she's put together.

That’s too funny! I do the same thing and hear the same thing from my wife. I tell her not to buy me anything because it’s usually wrong, something I would never use, a cheap knock off, etc.

I did buy a few new Kuiu pieces, T&K gaiters and a bino harness. An EXO K4 earlier in the year and a few accessories for it recently. I’m broke for now until I get paid for cutting up 4 elk and a Bighorn sheep on the side.

I finally got last years Xmas present, so I’ve been getting barrels threaded.

I got myself an Argali Serac with the orange handles and orange sheath, and replaced some base layers with the SG Chinook stuff.

Come spring when I have time to screw with it, I’m planning to buy my first Tikka.

Tomorrow morning I'm headed to the Idaho Fish & Game office to buy a lifetime hunting and fishing license. I turned 51 less than a month ago and the price drops considerably at that age. Merry Christmas to me.
