I don't have the Sportsman's yet to compare directly, just ordered it last night. That said, I expect the Sportsman's to be a bit heavier/burlier and more water resistant. The High-E is pretty durable as well, but I have managed to put a few holes in one of mine. I'm hoping to use the Sportsman's hoodie under some waders on my upcoming AK moose hunt. Apart from that out will likely get used on some waterfowl hunts as well as winter use working around the house, etc. We'll see how it works out. I'm hoping it's water resistant enough and comfortable enough when wet to ditch a hardshell in a lot of those situations and have a burly, breathable outer layer that's quiet and comfortable.

I have a Convex Vest from them sitting on my porch, will report back tonight with impressions of the Core Construction versus the Surface Hardened.

The Sportsman's looks super interesting for waterfowl for sure, I wish it had had a quarter or mid zip.
