Has anybody used these? My wife asked for a pair of binos and I'm debating between these and a set of Meopros. I know these are both a step below, but I had a pair of Meostars a while back and was pretty happy with them.

Thanks, Nick

I have a set of the Cabelas brand. Euro HD 10x42. They are a fantastic glass.

Euro HD = Meostar

The one the OP asked about is 2 steps down. No doubt fantastic as-is most Meopta for the hard earned dollar.

Yes, they are definitely a different tier than the Meostar, actually even a different level than the Meopro. However, Doug (I think it was Doug, maybe Joel) says that it is the same glass as the Meopro, but it uses different coatings. The housing is slightly different as well. It still has a magnesium body and aluminum eye cups.

He compared then to around the Viper HD; we'll see how my eyes see it. They are priced 200-250 below the Viper.

I recently tried the Optika and Meopro side by side and to my eyes the Meopro was easily a much better view. I ordered the 8x32 Meopro from Doug.

I didn't have the chance to look through the Meopro. My plan is to use these Optika's until I can save enough for some for some alpha glass. I'm mainly in woodlands, so hopefully these will do the job for the time being.

Considering how poor the Meopro's were to my eyes, I wouldn't even consider anything lower in the Meopta line.

My Meostars however, are great. Handed them to a few folks just today and they both said "wow, these are amazing binoculars" without any prompting at all. I agree.

Does anybody know what tripod adapter options there are for the optika or meopro? Can they take a stud like the field optics research one?

The Optika is able to take a stud. However, I'm not sure what one would fit best.

I don't have a lot of experience with optics, so the Optika's are okay to my eyes at this point. I didn't have the chance to try the Meopro.

You indicated you really like the Bushnell Legend M in this price range, right?

Correct. The Legend M's are unbelievable glass for the $ - comparable to optics 5x the price. Every time I look through my wife's 8x42's I'm dumbfounded.

This surprises me, I compaired my Meopro's to Razors and the Conquests multiple times and thought they were all very similar. Maybe I have a good sample? The Meopro's were hundreds less so that's what I bought

Yea, I was expecting a lot more from the Meopros. Unfortunately, there is something about made in china optics that screw with my eyes. I still don't know what it is. Only chinese optics that don't bother me are a few by Bushnell (like my wife's Legend M's which IMO are $1K optics disguised as $200 bins). There is just so much distortion in those Meopros. I sent back both an 8x and 10x pair the same day I got them. But if they work for your eyes, then that's great! Ergonomics were just about ideal in the Meopro line in my opinion.
