Hi everyone - Looking for some advice. I currently have an original pair of Cabelas Euro - non hd meostars (early model 2006). I also have a much newer pair of meopta meopro hd. Both are 10x42. I cant help but notice over and over again that my meopros are both brighter and sharper. Is this normal due to the age or is it worthwhile to send in the meostars and see if something is wrong with them? Thanks for any feedback. I was really excited when I found a deal on the meostars locally, but am trying to decide whether to keep and send them in to meopta or sell them at this point.

For what its worth, I tried the 10x42 Meopro HD and Meostar HD side by side one evening and could not tell the difference optically. Meostar had way better ergonomics, eyecups and a locking diopter. Meopro was much lighter and half the price. Ended up keeping the Meopros and hunted several years with them. Solid binos for the price.
