Hey guys I’m looking at a pair of meopta meostar 7x42 binoculars, wanted to know if any of you guys had experience with this model. I’ve used the 10x42 and 8x32 models , I’ve been using Swarovski, but thought about maybe picking these up for archery and shed hunting. Also wanted to see what you think the value of these are? They are brand new in the box and I know they discontinued the 7x42 model. Any way wanted to see what your guys thoughts was.
Thanks

I had a set of Meostar 7x42 for a number of years, they had great glass and a very comfortable image. They were a great forest glass, and the view depth was much better than most 8x42 models because you didn't need to adjust the focus very often.

I sold them when I moved to a Zeiss SF 8x42. The only negative i recall was they were pretty heavy as are other Meostar models.

They are my favorite and most used bino's by far. The details mentioned by others are part of that. The user characteristics/ease of use really stand out for how I use them, especially the long eye relief when used while wearing glasses.

If you buy them and decide they aren't what you want or if you don't want to purchase them, I would be interested in them. I haven't researched prices so I can't say on that.

I believe they wanted $799 for them, so probably close to $850 after tax. Is that going rate? I can’t find any one that has them for sale to compare the prices to

Hey guys just a update, purchased them, and really like them but have a opportunity to get some Swarovski slc, so these are up for sale in the classifieds for $650 tyd
Thanks
