Meopta Meopro 3-9x40

Hello everybody,

Im wondering what the general consensus or opinion is on this scope (value/quality). I know it is more or less the same thing as the Zeiss Conquest which I liked a few years ago.


I ended up ordering one of these from sport optics for 349.00 and free shipping (havn't gotten it yet though) because I've been looking for a basic scope to throw on a 30-06 I have. I've been looking all over and figured I'd just throw a VX2 on the rifle and be done with it but for whatever reason, I held off and kept looking, the Meopro was on my radar but at 450.00 was a bit more than I wanted to spend for a rifle that isn't even my "main" rifle.

Anyways, when I found it for 350 and free shipping I figured what the heck and ordered it up.

Who hs one or has played with one and what are your opinions on it?

I am in the same boat. Just got mine and will be comparing to my other scopes. All of the reviews and feedback are positive with no negative reports. Seems it's low light capability is exceptional. Optics are reported to be better than the VX2 and at least as good as the new VX3i with better tracking across he board.

Thats what I read too, I'm glad I went for this one, Looking forward to mounting it up and testing it out. This one is going on a Winchester 70 Extreme weather that I pulled the stock off of for another project. I Also replaced the stock trigger with a Timney and ordered up a mccmillan stock for it. It will be my new float hunt rifle.

Great scope at a great price. They are selling them below dealer cost so if they still have inventory jump on it. You'll be happy with it

Must have been a great price cause they seem to have sold out. Had 78 yesterday and show increased price today and listed as on back order.
