Having just completed a major DIY remodeling project on our house and spending 30 minutes to an hour sorting through the 2x4 to find 20 useable sticks, I can seriously relate. Too funny and aggravating at the same time!
I feel you! Once the lumber actually dried, it gets really twisted.
I had one of these guys handy when I remodeled my house, helps to manipulate seriously twisted boards back into place. 31diU3T1myL._AC_SY400_.jpg

Can't have too many clamps!
Picture of a Folded Tapped Horn Subwoofer Enclosure -aka- "The Insubnia" build.
I wanted a setup where the cone and driver weren't exposed so when entertaining in the backyard drunk people wouldn't do dumb things to the driver. People have a habit of doing things like placing drinks on a subwoofer. Being curious and poking at the driver, etc.

It's just a 6" driver, but in this big long folded horn it booms way big for it's britches!
