Where can I get merino wool in a Medium Tall size for tops and bottoms? Please no...these run long or this fits like a medium. It needs to be specifically made & labeled for Medium Tall size. Thx

Cabelas, LL Bean and Eddie Bauer are the only ones I know of that makes tall sizes, but none have camo for sale right now. LL Bean has Merino for sale right now in M Tall. I will say though that First Lite does really run as long as a tall as I do wear a large tall and none of the other companies fit.

I haven't found any merino bottoms in a Tall that actually fit like a Tall except for the ones Cabela's used to sell as their own branded merino. I have two pairs of them still, although one pair of pants I've been using for the past 7 years or so are a little tattered. Luckily I don't care if my ankles or legs below the calf are covered by merino, so most of the others will fit too. However, sometimes I have to cut the cuff in order to fit over the calf where they end up.

I had a pair of First Lite medium bottoms and they were way too short. I bought a pair of Minus 33 medium talls and they fit great. I have a 34" inseam and they have an inch or two of extra length. You can get them for around $50 each from Working Persons Store using their coupon codes.

Agreed; I should have qualified that their tops are long, bottoms are short. IceBreaker makes longest bottoms I've found. Even the LL Bean tall bottoms are only 32", but some don't mind a little short as you are usually wearing long socks. Haven't tried Minus33. Kuiu is really short so that they can be zipped off without removing your boots.

Medium Tall isn't necessarily consistent between companies. I'm 6-4 and 175 with a 32" draw length of that gives you any idea. My dress shirts are 16-37. Eddie Bauer and Cabelas are usually good for me in a medium tall, but not always. Sometime they can be too short or too tight in the shoulders. Banana Republic is definitely too tight for a MT and I need to go with a LT.

My favorite Merino top is a large Ibex hoodie. It has thumb loops and I can actually use them. It is a pretty tight fit, but not too restricting. I do have a few pairs of icebreaker tops and smart wool tops, but they do all run shorter. It does help to pick tops that have the thumb loops.

I have a 34" inseam an don't mind if my bottoms are a little short as socks cover them up, so mediums are always good there.
