MEAT dehydrator

I have the 10 tray. I used an American Harvest round dehydrator for 20 years and decided to upgrade to a larger one that has square trays instead of round. It’s been great so far. I did 25 lbs of venison jerky last fall that everyone loved. I would recommend it.

The good: Price was right on ExpertVoice, glass door so you can see progress, lightweight, digital temp display.

Only con: It’s a lot larger and bulkier than my old American Harvest.

6 tray dehydrator is fairly compact. Wife did some basil in it . Worked better than our old one . Does kick out some heat off front of machine. Happy with it so far . Will be making jerky soon

Any problems with the chrome plated trays? I've been looking at the LEM with stainless trays because I figured the chrome plating would flake off at some point.

I prefer the oven st at 200 degrees, crack the door, and use Lucky liquid Marinade. Fast and East and delicious.
