I thought I did a thread on this but a search didn't yield a result for me

Back in 2023 I bought the biggest chamber sealer that MEAT! sells

It was on sale for like significant amount off retail price. We vac seal A LOT in my house. wild game, domestic butchered animals, RTC meals, and garden produce. Liquids tend to need a very short amount of time for vac sealing. That was definitely a learning curve. The oiled vacuum motor has been going strong

The biggest workout i've given this thing was about 3 months back when we butchered about 20 chickens. we broke down 15 of them into quart and gallon size bags for different meals. All in all i think it was about 70ish bags that were sealed within an hour. No overheating or melting the bag on the heat bar. I have 3 different size bags that i've purchased for this thing. All purchased from webrestaurant supply. 1 qt (~8"x12") 1 gallon(~12x16") and ultra big (~16"x 26") I use the ultra big bags for doing bacon or whole chickens. because this machine has a large sealing bar, it can do 2- 1 qt size bags in one go.

I don't know if this thing has paid for itself yet but its definitely an amazing addition to the arsenal of anyone that process more than 5 animals per year. I don't have any regrets about getting a unit this size. It was definitely pricey.. Maybe find a friend and split the cost. I rarely ever have a bag that doesn't seal properly . When I do have a bag that seals improperly its usually because I put too much in the bag.
