We went on a scouting trip in CO a few weeks back and had all dried meals (store bought not home made) in zip lock bags, and then stuffed into dry bags. Simple and easy. If you are near the truck you can store in there, otherwise, paracord and get it off the ground 10 feet. Little extra work but worth it.
