Just got the mcarbo spring kit installed on my t3x stainless laminated . I like it so far breaks really clean I don’t have it at the lowest setting but close . I’ve read a bit about “bump tests “ drop”tests . I’ve dropped it on the but on my floor a few times . Trigger did not go off … so I’m hoping I’m good ? Any insight on this test ? Also with this stock does any one have the torque specs they used for the action screws ? Factory was a c hair over 40 so I just matched that putting it back together ? Thanks all !

Don't know about the drop tests, but factory torque is 45 in-lbs for bottom plastic, 60 for bottom metal. Some people do fine torquing the plastic to 60, others report deforming when they do. Don't forget to degrease.

Hey bud thanks for the reply . As for degreasing you mean the action screws or ?

Cock the rifle, thump it hard, several times, butt first, on a hard surface (e.g., hardwood floor, concrete, etc.). That’s how you test if a trigger is “drop safe,”
