Thanks, I’ll have to look into gem air. McCall will only fly into unit 27 without a guide.I’ve heard great things about them and gem air. Never been with either though.
Hey Robby, do you know any boat companies that will take up on the salmon river and drop you off and then pick you up?No but I’ve heard good things about McCall Aviation. It’s been a while but I had a friend that guided back on the middle fork and they flew him in and out of there.
That was over a decade ago but they’ve been a solid business and should be easy to find current info on
Right on, thanks. how were your experiences back there? I have Also been looking at trying to find a boat company that will take me into the frank and hike from the riverFlown with them a lot. Their hunter special is probably the best deal to get in and out of the Frank. Great pilots too. That being said, they bought a bigger air plane and now use it like a bus so you might find yourself doing multiple pick-ups/drop offs once you're on the plane. Their customer service is great though. If you need meat hauled out you just send Jen an inreach message and she'll get an airplane headed your way and it doesn't cost you any extra.
I don’t, but I would look at some of those outfitters around Riggins. Some of those guys have jet boats for their operation.Hey Robby, do you know any boat companies that will take up on the salmon river and drop you off and then pick you up?
