Has anyone on here ever flown into any of the Idaho units that Mc call aviation Drops people off in?
Thanks

No but I’ve heard good things about McCall Aviation. It’s been a while but I had a friend that guided back on the middle fork and they flew him in and out of there.
That was over a decade ago but they’ve been a solid business and should be easy to find current info on

Flew with McCall several times. They are fine. Don’t really have anything to compare them to other than talking to guys camped in there and seeing other planes on the strip. The McCall side seems to get more weather than the Challis side which can limit McCall from flying. It has affected our trips (shortened, or lengthened, depending which way we’re going) one year spent 6 extra days just eating deer meat. But that wasn’t their fault, you couldn’t get in from either side.

Hey Robby, do you know any boat companies that will take up on the salmon river and drop you off and then pick you up?

Flown with them a lot. Their hunter special is probably the best deal to get in and out of the Frank. Great pilots too. That being said, they bought a bigger air plane and now use it like a bus so you might find yourself doing multiple pick-ups/drop offs once you're on the plane. Their customer service is great though. If you need meat hauled out you just send Jen an inreach message and she'll get an airplane headed your way and it doesn't cost you any extra.
