MBG Sight Fiber Optic Tape

Hi all-
The “tape” that keeps the fiber optic line in the groove on my single pin sight housing is old, yellow, full of dirt, and cracked.

Has anyone replaced this “tape” before? If so, what did you use?

Use a small dab of elmers glue or rubber cement. No super glue.

I’d use a strip of clear packing tape on it.

Just take a moment and give them a call directly and ask them. MBG are really great guys and I'm sure they will give you the best options here - (406) 388-9060. They are only a couple of miles away from me and I've been in there a couple of times.

They have always been great. I sent a message to MBG and they are happy to replace it. I was hoping someone might have an idea on alternative solutions.
Sending it in might be the best option
