Sight Housing Too Big--Modified to Match Peep

I really like the Trophy Ridge Vertical 5 pin Sight, but the housing is 2 1/4 inches and the ability to move the whole sight further away from riser is minimal and currently maxed out. My problem is, the sight housing does not fit inside my peep view at full draw. The best I can do is make about half of the circle of housing fit in the peep view if you know what I mean. I shoot pretty good with it but felt I may be more consistent with the whole housing just inside the peep as many archers recommend. So, I got some 2 inch inside diameter PVC, cut a 1/4" of it then notched some of it away to make a "C". Put some orange duct tape on the facing surface, double sided tape on contact area, pinched the legs together of the "C" and pressed into sight housing. For some reason the arrow goes in the same hole or really close to it every time now. (I only shoot one arrow). This is just preliminary results, but I am happy so far. Hope this helps anyone with same problem.

Yeah, I may do that with my other bow and see differences, it's an identical setup with lower poundage limbs. There is something to be said about too big of a peep for application and accuracy desire. I could have just bought a sight with 2" housing or a sight with more horizontal adjustment away from riser but.....I really like the vertical Trophy Ridge and it's paid for.

Bigger peep is limited in availability; I only found one source for 5/16" and that is made for aperture inserts. What I got is what I got. I guess I can't complain with arrows going in the same holes now, cost was minimal.
