Maximum picture size

Can someone please tell me the maximum size allowed for a picture on rokslide. I have dumbed them down to less than 2mb and still says to large. What size do they need to be in order to be allowed to post.

Admin might know better but from a quick look at some photos they’re between 600-900kb or just under one mb.

Sometimes I have to email them to myself and that will bring it down to the right size

Trying to post from a computer without having to email them to myself. I can easily resize them if I know what is wanted.

Apparently it the image size not the file size. I tried 900 kb didn't work. Dropped them to 600x600 pixels from 1000x1000 and it worked. Thanks for the replies.

My photos are 5712 x 4284 and 4.2ish MB when downloaded from Google Photos. I resize to 5000 in one aspect and it drops them to 2.6mb usually.

No issues with uploading.
