Open source project.

Hornady makes an Ovall Length Gauge tool that sells for ~$40.00. If you have more money than time, stop here and go buy one. They work great.
I am an inveterate tinkerer and can't help myself, and I have access to a 3D printer, so I made my own version that costs less.
You will need a 300mm x 4mm rod and a modified case (more on that below). I bought 5 stainless steel rods from Uncle Bezos Wonder Emporium for $10 all in.
I made this to fit my 6.5 PRC Tikka rifle with a factory stock. Feel free to modify the design to suit your needs.
I printed these parts on a Bambu P1S using PLA+ and factory settings. The shell holder part requires supports to be enabled.
The rods required a little sanding at the ends to fit smoothly through the holes.
File password: Tinker
Gauge Fusion File
Gauge STL Zip Folder
Glue the brass adapter, tubes, and num adapter together.
Put the rod through and then screw on the nut. Tightening the nut will capture the rod.
Screw your modified case on the end. Be careful! The plastic threads will cross easily.
DIY modified case. Drill out a fired case with a 9/32 drill bit and tap the hole to 5/16-32. I printed a case holder by entering SAMI dimensions into Fusion. I used a 3.25mm wall thickness and flattened two sides for clamping.
I made two by hand and two in the drill press. Both worked fine.

All the open source blah blah applies. Be a good human.
