Max range with scope out west?

300 yards is my max with my Paramount. So far have only killed two mule deer with it. One at 125 and one at 280. The 125 yard shot, the buck dropped on the spot. The 280 buck ran about 30 yards and fell over dead.

280grain Powerbelt ELR rolling out at about 2400fps. Still has over 2,000ft-lbs of energy at 400, but only a 10” drop at 300 yds versus 30” at 400.

I killed a bull at 450 yards with my Arrowhead 45 cal. It was early morning and there was NO wind. The Arrowhead 300 grain NSR bullet passed thru both lungs and did it's job.
I can hit a 20" steel plate at 800 yards with it. It's a tack driver
