Maven vs Vortex vs Zeiss binos

I've looked at Maven and they are great Binocs. . My brother put his Swaro's against the Maven's and he couldn't tell the difference even in low light conditions.

Maven has just come out with a $300 pair called C-1 that uses the same glass as the B-1. it doesnt have the real nice case and adjustment knobs as the B-1.
I second maven. I’ve had vortex, then leupold, and found a maven b2 in the Wyoming mountains and wow what a great pair of binos.

Same objective? Have you used the zeiss much at last light?

I have. I used them both side by side a few times before deciding to sell my mavens.
I went from the 11x45 to the 12x50’s. Bigger objective so there are obvious advantages there.
I went up in magnification but actually gained in field of view over the mavens. Went up in objective and actually cut weight with the sfl’s and gained with the eye relief of the sfl’s. The sfl’s are also shorter and more compact and the ergos feel way better in my hand.

As far as glass quality you gain extra light with the larger objective and it is noticeable. The biggest difference for me was the color and brightness of color. The sfl’s are a brighter color than the mavens which to me makes the contrast better which in turn makes things pop out more. This also makes the biggest difference at low light.
So between the engineering being better and in my opinion viewing experience being better I would recommend the sfl’s over the 11x45 b.2’s. But everyone’s eyes are different and could be a different experience for someone else. The mavens are awesome binos no doubt and are a better price point. Just my two cents
