Maven makes a high quality optic. better then Vortex and most other big name manufactures that I have looked thru, but everyone’s eyes see stuff differently. I currently have the b2 11x45 binocular and a rifle scope. I have no complaints about either one.
I used the demo program before I bought my binoculars. I had two pair sent to the house and got to use them for a week for the overall price of shipping. The demo program is worth it to give them a try in my opinion.

I tested the maven 11x45 B2s against the EL Range 10x42s and was amazed with the results. The mavens slightly edged the swaros at low light(not enough to matter in my opinion). I do feel that the swaros have a better edge to edge clarity in daylight as well as a very slight crisper image(not enough to matter in my opinion). To me, getting the mavens was a no brainer, but many will disagree. After doing a lot of research I would love to test my mavens against the 10x52 NL Pures, I think the NL pures will edge them out across the board(low light, crisp image and edge to edge clarity). Having said that the NL pures are 3700$ to my door and the B2s were under 1000$ to my door on Black Friday. Personally, I can’t justify a 2700$ price difference for a slightly better optic, I just can’t do it.

I attached the low light comparison of the B2s and the EL ranges that I spoke of above. The swaro image gets dark around the edges(top one).

Thanks for sharing the test results. That’s an impressive testimony. I wonder if the NLs are any different.

I have an EL Range TA, I would not recommend the ballistic solver or LRF in it. My set barely lasers 600 meters.

Change the battery and check again, if that doesn’t solve it send them in. You should be getting 2k+ and anything under 1500 should be easy.

Agreed. I read a few posts about how bad the Swaro TA's were. Guys have trouble getting them to last a full match on a new battery, etc. I researched batteries and got the best I could find. Mine have lasted multiple matches, zero issues ranging, ballistic data is always within 0.1 mil of AB, and heck I even used them in -10* the other day without issue. I figured for sure I would be swapping batteries.

It’s a battery thing 99% of the time, there’s no idea how old the batteries are when you get them. I changed mine yearly and had no issues.
