After all the Maven optics talk in here, I finally pulled the trigger on some custom (you know, fancy colors) B.3s in 8x30. If these turn out nice, the plan is to add some B.6 10x50s in the same fancy color scheme. A mix of orange, black, silver and Kuiu Vias makes them custom. Yes, I'm sure the custom colors are a waste of money, but why the hell not? I've never been able to customize some binos before.

Also went for the CRS.1 riflescope to go on a Christian Arms Scout I have on order. Should be a lightweight combo for running around the backyard this fall.

I'll update this thread with opinions and photos as things get in my hands.

If you are like me, you will absolutely love the B3 8x30. They are terrific. And so small too. What really surprised me was how good they were on a tripod. They were so small compared to my fluid head and tall tripod, but they worked so good on it. It was quite impressive.

Wish I still had them. But I sold them in hopes of doing some other things. My experience with Maven glass has been very positive. I am a fan and believer.

If my old Nikon Monarch 3 10x42’s ever die on me, they’ll probably be replaced with Maven 10 or 12x B series. I was impressed with the C4’s and I’m sure the B series are even more impressive.
