Maven b2 7x vs 9x

I always see 9x vs 11x, but don't hear much about the 7x.
Has anyone used the 7 and 9 side by side? Is the 7 brighter or have a much larger fov? I have read the 9 is the sweet spot in the b2 line up, is that true?

The b2 is a relatively large bino for the magnification range. I'd suspect the reason you don't hear much about the 7x is because most people are looking for smaller/lighter options in the lower power binos.

I feel like the 9x and 11x have just enough magnification to justify the size/weight. I personally believe the 9 is the sweet spot. I've looked through both the 9 and 11 and my eyes liked the 9 better...mostly due to a shallower depth of field on the 11. I don't think you can go wrong either way however.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of the 9 power. That way I'll have 6x, 9x and 12x. B3, b2 and swaro el
