Maven B or leupold bx5 binos

Looking to upgrade my binos, curious if I should go with the Maven b 1.2 or Leupold bx5 10x42?

I love my Mavens. I upgraded from Vortex.
My limited time behind the Leupold bx5's left me impressed too.
I'd just snag whichever one went on sale first or for the biggest discount.

I think they'll be pretty close... you're down to personal preference.

I didn't like the ergonomics of the Leupold BX-5 15x56's I've tried but the glass was nice.

Maven B1.2. I dont think its all that close. I actually prefer the BX-4 over the BX-5, very little difference optically, , the BX-4 is more compact, while the BX-5 eye cups (at least the current version) have a lip that I didnt care for, and both BX-5s I tried had a loose hinge.

But the B1.2 to me is a step up over the BX-5 in every way.

Looks like the SLCs have been around awhile and lots of changes over the years. I will probably be going used on whichever ones I can make a decision on.
