Maven 9x45 Bino Harness??

I just got some new Maven 9x45 and they are kind of an odd size. I want to get either a Kuiu or AGC harness for them but not sure which one to get. The kuiu one is tall enough but says fits up to 42mm. I am guessing the 45 will fit but not sure.

The AGC harnesses wont work unless I go with the Giant one that fits 15s. Any ideas??

I had a pair of Vortex Razor 12x50s and they fit in the normal sized Kuiu harness, as surprising as that sounds. I tried them out in their show room before buying them. Sort of a tight fit but they broke in perfect and weren't hard to get in or out. My guess is the 45mms would fit. The one side effect I had is that it filled up the harness enough that the little side pockets were much tighter and I could only fit a windicator in one side and nothing bigger than a lens cloth in the other. Good luck!

I have the same binos and they fit in the XL kuiu case. I have the older one so I’m not sure about the new one.

Is there a lot of extra room in the XL case?

A little bit it’s not too bad. The new one looks like it has a thicker liner which may cut down on that but I haven’t used it so I’m not sure. I’m currently using the large outdoor vision harness so that’s another option for you.

I put my Maven B2's in an AGC harness, the regular size. I didn't have to go to the big size. I'm currently running them in the Badlands Bino XR.

Which one of the regulars did you have?

I run my 9x B2s in the Kuiu XL harness. The Large was too small to allow easy one handed access etc. Our AGC Cub is too small to use with one hand. No problems with our Badlands Mag case.

I currently have mine in a Kodiak Cub that I used to run my old 10x42's in.. but they aren't the best fit now for my 9x45s. I need something that is a little longer which brought me to this thread.

I love the layout of my AGC with the MAX pocket as I use all of them for different pieces of gear etc. Just need to figure out what the best replacement will be for these particular binos.

My B.2's fit with a bit of extra room in the AGC classic. They slide in easily with the extra space but stay put once the lid is down.

Thanks for your input. Do they feel sloppy at all when in there and you're moving around? That was my only concern with bumping up to the classic.

Once the lid is down they don't move at all. The classic it's pretty much the perfect height for them so the lid holds them in place well but it's a bit wider than really needed. Again, I prefer that extra room so it is easier and quieter to get them in and out but they really stay put once the lid is down. If you run your harness without the lid strapped down you might notice a bit of slop but even then it wouldn't be bad.
