I too am looking strongly at this scope for a 243 I purchased for my wife. Love the weight of 12oz and the Maven reputation. Does anyone have some real life experience with it?

Also in for input. I've almost bought this scope a few times but can't get over the ridiculous reticle so would end up with the duplex version and trying to dial it.

Seems like there have been a few threads like this and no one has come back with actionable feedback. I’ll be buying one regardless. I’m not doing going to do a drop test, but I will zero and go near hunting then do a post season zero test.

I had one in SHR reticle. I really liked it. I never drop tested it, but I never noticed any zero shift at all, even after driving rough FS roads.

However, I'm guessing that was just luck and if you drop tested it, it wouldn't pass or maybe it would be a partial pass/fail like the swfa ultralight

I have on with the SHR. Seemed to hold zero well the first rifle it was on, and I found the reticle functional to 400 well enough, though it was a matter of splitting the subtentions so not as precise as dialing. Then it moved around between rifles a little and never seemed to stay still. I should probably pull it out and test it again and either junk it or send it back if it’s not holding to easy use at least.

I have two and two Swarovski Z3s. The RS.2 holds its own on the glass quality, including low light. No issues with losing zero, though I haven’t shot a great deal with them. I have used one on a .50 muzzleloader shooting 300gr bullets with stout recoil - solid.

I thought I saw at least a partial review of it and it did well.

I thought the same for the SWFA 2.5-10 ultralight. Maybe I’m just being hopeful and made it up.

The Maven 2-10 is nice and clear, and from my limited use, is solid.

It is a nice scope. I've not seen anyone do a drop evaluation or share long term use zero hold information on it.

I have messaged Maven twice over the past couple years requesting they consider a Mil-Based reticle like the SHR Mil in the RS-2. That or even a better designed BDC and I would buy one.
