Looking for input on a project gun. Have a Yugo Mauser 98 that’s been sporterized and chambered in 300 win. Was a gift a long time ago and for sentimental reasons want to use this action. Dislike the way it’s setup currently and looking to rebarrel, new stock, trigger group etc. Hopeful to turn it into a mountain rifle.

Interested to hear if anyone’s been down this path with a Mauser? If so, would like to hear experience and see examples.

B&C sporter stock
Timney trigger group
Pic rail
Bed action
Cerakote the whole thing.

Up in the air on scope. But think I’m between the VX5 and Swarovski z5.
