Hoyt finally built my "dream" bow, but is it really worth "upgrading" again from my G3 Matrix? I will probably end up with both this spring, but am trying to talk myself out of it. Although, 2 bows is nice... I have stayed out of the Hoyt shop for this reason. Granted, I can barely hold onto any bow for more then 8 months.

How much of a difference is there between them? Help!

My current rig is at 74#, 28.5", custom strings and all that.

I personally don't think there will be too much of a difference. But hey you know you want it deep down? Get it if you can.

I used to be caught by the newest and greatest bug and always had to have the new bow. I have since just held on to bows longer. After all it is the indian not the bow. :)

I don't know the difference, but it sure does look cooler. The new Z5 cam seemed to draw smoother then the RKT. There was less hand shock, and the back wall seemed more solid to me. I can't wait for my first Carbon Hoyt to come in.

I really don't foresee a big difference between the two bows, except riser design. Not sure if the cam system is noticeably different? Guess I'll just have to go shoot them side by side. Granted, that's also comparing a bow off the shelf to one that has custom threads and tuned to my likings...

I just don't know if I can justify the difference for the money! Lol. I love my current matrix and it's a shooter for sure.

I have been debating the same thing re my Spyder 30 vs a new Carbon Spyder 30. I have the money set aside, but my Spyder 30 is so well tuned and set up; I don't think there would be that much different with the CS 30.
