Man oh man, bought a vxr back in December, 28 one, love the bow. But after 30 yds I can’t put anything together, it gets messy. Do you think it has anything to do with my 30 draw on a short axle to axle bow? Been thinking I should try to sell it to buy a longer axle to axle bow? Or just keep at it and hope it all comes together . Would suck to trade up such a new bow.

Second bow, first bow was old bear bow I got from a friend. And could shoot 40 in 7-9 group I ain’t no pro. bow was tuned when I got it and felt great, but due to covid and pro shop being 5 hrs away and only letting people in who buy new bows. Maybe I’m being impatience getting used to the shorter axle to axle. But at 40 with the vxr it’s like a shotgun went off

Had same issues.. and I shot the triax for 3 years and was deadly out to 70. First off I think the longer riser makes the string angle a tad steeper. I had a kisser button on and I ended up taking that off , took the grip off and wrapped in head tape and put a bowmar nose button on.. the button was the ticket to me and has helped my groups. I was loosing arrows in my yard anything over 50 and now I'm back to being confident

I've had issues dropping to a lower ATA. What I've found to be the culprit is nock pinch. At your draw length you are creating an extreme string angle. It is a simple fix though, you can tie in either a bottom nocking point, or above and below. Levi Morgan shot the Triax lights out and he has a 31 inch draw. I'll leave a video below of a 30 inch draw that also shoots a 28 extremely well.

Get a bowmar nose button. it helped me a ton out past 40. Only cost like $15

I order the bowmar nose button last night, shooting today I found I was also figgiting to anchor with my release , its a spot hogg wise guy, think I might try a thumb release and see if its more confrontable

Yes but the Nock to it and throw the Wiseguy over a bridge. Silverback would probably be a better option yet.
