Mathews P4

Seriously thinking of buying the Mathews P4 this season. Any new P4 owners out there that might share a quick opinion? I'm concerned about dependability. I've shot the P4 and was instantly impressed...however the P4 hasn't been out there long enough to understand if there are any potential design issues?

Very little of the actual design has changed on that bow in 5 years.


If nervous about the limb system, just get a V3X.

I know several people who own them and haven't heard any complaints. They are very quiet. Personally, I bought the new Prime Revex 4 and have no regrets. In testing videos is was less than 1 decibel louder, only a couple of FPS slower, with a much more forgiving draw cycle. I don't like the short, jumpy valley on the Mathews. The Revex has a very liberal valley. If you accidentally creep, you can easily recover to full draw without much effort.
