What pushed you back to the Phase 4? (I'm a Phase 4 guy too btw)

After shooting both side by side I thought the Phase 4 had less hand shock/vibration and seemed quieter to me. They were both great but with the slight edge to the Phase 4 and it was $428 cheaper. The guys at the bow shop told me that when most people shoot both they prefer the Phase 4 for whatever reason. If I really needed to cut 5 ounces (or whatever it is) from my setup I’d probably go with Lift which I see as only advantage (that and better strings from factory).

I think if they were exact same price it would have been a tougher decision.

I got a lift this year as my first ever new bow, always been hand me downs or garage sale buys. Can say I'm thoroughly impressed but also slightly disappointed, it's draw cycle left me with more to be desired but other than that I can say that if you put in the work it's an awesome lightweight shooter.

I got mine around March, in bottomland camo. I have at least 600 arrows through it, no issue and has fun to shoot. My groups have improved, or it could be that I am just shooting more as well, not sure. Once you get some gear on it, I feel like it shoots even better, just my thoughts.

I picked up my Lift in Feb and finally got the 80lb mod in April. Great shooting bow, dead in the hand, quiet, balances well, everything you want.

I had been shooting a Drenalin since 2012 and had a lot of really good hunts with it and really never felt urged to upgrade until this year since I'm at the point to start drawing my LE elk tags in WY, CO, and AZ. I loved that bow. Yesterday, I decided to shoot the Drenalin right beside my Lift and HOLY COW. I did not understand the jump in tech I made initially.

Just picked up a lift, the draw length is much more true now. Any Mathews bow I used 29.5 mods and the Lift I use 30 inch draw mods

Overall cool bow, very light and the draw seems normal and not to stiff to me using 65# 80% mods

Seen a few limb failures with these just FYI. I would consider something else if you want reliable, but that is nearly impossible in the modern compound arena

I'm not brand loyal and have had limb splinters with my Bowtech BTX-31 before and recently on my new LIFT. I have since just had the LIFT limbs replaced, time will tell how the replacment limbs hold up. I went into specifics on my discovery of the spinter and on my process to getting them fixed on the Archery Talk forum if you care to read about this. If you have a LIFT, it's worth the read for your situational awareness.
Don't get me wrong, I really like the LIFT it is a great shooting bow.

What ATA? I liked the lift 33 more than the Phase 4 but liked the phase 4 29 more than the lift 29.5

So, for those who have them or shot them, is the lift still feel top heavy at full draw? That’s the thing I have not been able to get past, I don’t want stabilizers on my hunting bow, most of my shots on game are inside 20yds and have no desire to shoot critters past 40-ish yds, so for my purpose, stabilizers offer nothing but weight and inconvenience packing them around the brush

I have decided it’s a new bow year for me, and since they did a great job cutting weight, I feel it’s only fair to put the Lift into heavy consideration.

I would really like the 33, but looking at them, I assume I’ll like the balance and weight of the 29.5 better, and again, it’s a close range hunting bow, not trying to shoot a deer in the eye at 75yds

Last mathews I had was the triax, and hated that thing. It was fun to shoot but the balance made it uncomfortable to pack around and it really needed a front and back bar.

Last mathews that I liked was the chill R, which was a great hunting bow, I’m hoping i like the Lift too, and they did some things this year to make it attractive to me

looking to upgrade to a flagship bow this year. love the weight/balance of the rx8, not sure if i want to go carbon though. need to find a phase 4 and lift to shoot.

I just picked up a Lift 33 last week… ironically I just discovered a splinter on one of the limbs of my Hoyt RX7. Don’t you love when you discover something like this a week before a hunting trip?

Time to accelerate the set up process on my Lift. It just made the team and is coming with me to Kodiak next week.
