These are great shooting and light rifles. Mine is built on a rem 700 in 375 H&H with a 24 ported barrel and weights 5.5 lbs with talley rings attached. Let me tell you, the barrel is mighty thin at the muzzle with that huge hole in it and recoil is about the same as a 270 winchester in a 7 lb rifle. A tack driver with handloaded 260gr accubonds. Built it just in case I ever get to hunt Alaska....im still waiting for about 10 years now.
