Marsupial Bino harness bulky?

I bit the bullet and ordered a full marsupial enclosed patch and rangefinder pouch. Got my NL 10x42 in it and it seems to me to be very bulky and big for these binos compared to my Kuiu. Great quality and design, but just too much bulk I feel. Anyone else find this? I was inclined to go Mystery Ranch which is a similar design, but seemed less obtrusive, now I think I should have. Kuiu pulls the eye cup rings off when I open with one hand, so it’s got to go. Am I just reacting to the change and will I grow accustomed to the marsupial?

What size did you order, I use a medium enclosed for razor uhd 10x50 (which are giant binos) and that max out the medium, but I have a small that I throw 8x42’s in that doesn’t seem overly large. The way the marsupials sit tight to your chest and handle weight makes them my favorite out of badlands, kuiu, adak and Alaskan gear which I have used previously

They say on their site that they “break in”. I have one for mine and got it in Nov and only hunted die antelope in dec. So mines not even “broken in” yet.

I have my 10x42 meostars in a small. It is more bulky then my gen 1 outdoor vision, but stays closed better with the heavy meostars

I love the OG Kuiu and it’s extremely minimalist. The Marsupial was the only pack that made me put the Kuiu down. I didn’t find it bulky at all but did think there was a tad bit more padding. Both packs are good.

I have my 8.5x42 Els in a medium. Not bulky to me but I started with a AGC. I also own a small and my ELs fit it it. I just prefer the medium to the small. I use then im a climbing stand so Im not as worried about the binos slopping around in the harness. I dont want to fight with getting binos in and out while in the climber. I never heard marsupials referred to as bulky but I guess its depends on what you are used to.

If you keep the forehead thingy on it, it has to be medium. Without the forehead thingy it will fit tighter in a small. And that will seem less bulky imo..

I have my 8.5x42 in a medium and not bully at all. Had a Kuiu prior to this and didn't like the Kuiu at all. IMO the Marsupial is the best bino harness out there. Haven't tried them all but have had a few and really like the Marau gear.

Well, turns out they sent a medium. NLs are swimming in it. Small is on the way. Hoping for satisfaction

I have my Leica 10x42s in a small - I was thinking there wasn't a way to get it much smaller......

How did you end up liking the small? I‘ve been going back and forth as to whether I should get the Marsupial or Kifaru bino harness.

I have vortex razor hd 10 by 42 with the small harness and have been using for years. Feel naked without it . Not sure how it feels bulky but I’m a big fan of that harness. My friends all have purchased after seeing mine and trying it out.

I really like it with the extra small case on the side for my emergency essentials and a small holster. I paired it with the Crooked Horn rangefinder holder though because I don’t want a flip case. I’m a bowhunter and when you’re in close I’d rather just slide in and out without worrying about any extra noise.

Got the small and it’s great.
Glad to hear the small worked out for you. I’ve got a small on the way and I’m pretty confident it will be just what I‘m looking for in a bino harness. Thanks to everyone else for weighing in as well.
