I need some rain wear for a September Elk hunt in Colorado.
I have heard of both of these mentioned in my research. It wouldn't make sense for me to buy the Kuiu or Sitka rain stuff as I am a whitetail hunter from NJ and I just wouldn't use it enough to justify the additional cost.
I am looking at the above for myself and my son. I am 6'2", 275lbs with a 50" chest. My son is 6'5", 240lb with a 48" chest. I usually wear a 2xl but much of the outdoor specific clothing seems to run small.
How are either of these jackets for the purpose I need them for as well as how do they run size wise?
