Marlin 336 classic

Is anyone, anywhere finding a gun shop that has received a new Marlin 336 Classic 30-30? A year ago, my primary gun shop put in orders at multiple distributers in an attempt to get me one, and so far, nothing. I have checked other gun shops in my area, and they are having the same results. Even if nobody is able to get one, has anybody heard reliable information as to when they will be sent to distributors? I know that others have been waiting longer, but at what point do we just move on? Asking for a friend!!

A marlin 30-30 isnt exactly a hard thing to round up..

Steve300xcw, you have a good point. I didn't phrase the how long to wait thing very well. You are also correct, rounding up "a" Marlin 30-30 is pretty easy. Unfortunately, any gun shop I've checked with hasn't been able to acquire a brand spanking new, in box, never been owned before, "Ruger" Marlin 336 Classic 30-30 in the last year. Emails to Marlin have gone unanswered.
