Marlin 1894…. in 10mm

This thread inspired me to finally get the new furniture on my .41 Mag. This was my uncle’s truck gun on the ranch for many many years before he passed, so the wood that was on it was pretty rough. Turns out the new Ruger production stocks fit the pre-Remlin guns pretty well.

I’m going to try and grab one of these 10mm rifles and see if it will cycle the 10mm Magnum loads I run for my S&W 610. GRT says it should be able to push 180gr XTPs and A-frames above 1800fps from a 16” barrel.

Damn, that turned out great...

My 63 is one of the Browning repops. Beautiful rifle. I’ve got 90s in 22 Short, 22 Long, and 22 WRF. The WRF was my grandfather’s whitetail poaching rifle. He kept his family fed with it during some hard times in the early 70s.
As a kid, I shot a bunch of ground squirrels with my dad’s Model 63. It is topped with a Weaver K4 with a plain crosshair. I ended up with it, and I have good intentions to take it out after gray squirrels one of these days.

I just got to zero and then play with a buddy's Henry Homesteader 9mm carbine semi-auto. The entire time I was thinking "if they made this in 10mm it would be the perfect pairing with my backcountry handgun!"
Of course, I am still waiting on the right deal on the S&W lever gun in 357 to pair with my EDC revolver for around the farm use.
Do I NEED either paring? Nope. Do I want them both? YES! Also a lever gun/revolver combo in 41 mag, just because.
