How old was it? The first gen were NATO mil so lots of people thought they were off but they were made that way. They required a correction factor (.97) in the solver to correct for it. As I said earlier in the thread March changed that down the road.

Mine was off in the other direction - clicks were larger rather than smaller. If you look at that vid, it wasn’t bad. 1.5 tenths error over 10 mils at most? Maybe a 1.014 correction value rather than 0.97?

They also have two new reticles coming out designed around ffp hunting. One in mil and one in moa. They are supposed to be available mid April per what they said. I’ll find that link too. It should be right around 30oz which is good by me. I plan on putting one on my 300nmi being done around june

18% lighter than prior zco 420 -- and still 33% heavier than a March F. Just a totally different size class

Zco looks nice for dudes who want to spend $4k for a 29ish ounce hunt scope and have Alpha glass. I wouldn’t be surprised if the “rokscope” fits my needs just as well at 1/4 the price. TBD

Are you short sighted by any chance? I have the same issue with most scopes too. The march works for me only place it hasn't been is at the range late at night under artifical light.

I am slightly short sighted but not by much. I don’t use any form of vision correction.

That sounds very familiar. Can pass vision test can see animals at distance its just not perfect jist squint a bit hahaha. Think when i check for contacts it was 0.25 or 0.5 correction. Shooting under artificial light tends to make it worse for me but I find a few scopes abit critical to get target and reticle in focus and always have ocular bottomed out.

MY GPO 4-16 was worse and ive had a few scopes that were not usable. The march I can tell is close but ive only noticed it at the range when i go at night (the range is lit up and your in a covered shooting bay) that I struggle. Never noticed it in the field. Oh well mostly was just interesting as I thought i was the only punter who found it an issue on scopes. The Revic BR4 is bad too for me like I struggle to use it which sucks as theres no resale here in NZ..

I can be one of the biggest optics snobs walking but I've never cared much about "glass" in a rifle scope. Definitely not something I chase or want to spend big money on.
