I don’t think that you can. I am pretty sure they use different orifaces for the gas port. To get the correct gas/o2 mix. Kind of like natural gas and propane.

Not to say youre wrong (so please dont get all bent) ;), but I know I can interchange between MAP and Propane on my hand torch with no problems. Isnt that the same?
All the same I don't think I'd use it to cook with.

Map-Pro (Mapp isn't produced any more) can be used in place of Propane, you don't need to change the orifice size. Map-Pro gas burns about 100 or so degrees hotter than Propane, it was developed to be able to solder copper pipe easier than Propane does.
